Vjetrenica , which means a wind hole, named like this because of the strong cold wind coming out of the entrance to the cave, is the largest cave complex in Bosnia Herzegovina, and one of the most important caves in the Dinaric Alps mountain range.

After we conclude our visit to Vjetrenica cave we will proceed to Trebinje.

Trebinje is positioned in East Herzegovina, a part of Republika Srpska entity. For Trebinje is said that it is “the city of the sun and Platanus trees”, and it is one of the most beautiful cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina with Trebišnjica river flowing through its heart.

The old town of Trebinje dates all the way back to the 18th-century Ottoman period, and includes the famous Arslanagić Bridge.
