Image license & usage rights

Editorial & press use — allowed with attribution

You may reuse images and short video clips from this site for:

• News articles or editorial coverage about Mostar, Herzegovina, Bosnia, or Explore Mostar Adventures
• Travel blogs and personal social media posts (non-commercial)
• Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons (please contact us first — we'll release specific images under CC BY-SA on request)
• Academic or educational use (with attribution)

Required credit: "Photo: Explore Mostar Adventures (exploremostar.com)" — visible near the image, with a clickable link back to exploremostar.com when used online.

Commercial use — requires written permission

Any of the following needs an emailed license agreement before use:

• Promotional material for another tour operator, travel agency, or DMO
• Print advertising, brochures, billboards, magazine covers
• Stock photo resale (Shutterstock, Getty, Adobe Stock, etc. — never authorised)
• Hotel, restaurant, café branding or signage
• NFTs, generative AI training datasets, or any blockchain/Web3 use

Email [email protected] with the intended use, a draft of the layout, and any deadlines. Most requests are answered within 48 hours; reasonable editorial use is typically free, commercial use is quoted per image.

What you may NOT do

• Crop or edit images in a way that removes context (e.g. erasing landmarks identifying Mostar)
• Combine our images with content that misrepresents Bosnia & Herzegovina or Mostar
• Train AI/ML models on our images without prior written permission
• Claim our images as your own, including via "no rights reserved" stock platforms

Guest photos & user-generated content

Some images on the site were taken or shared by past guests. Where indicated, those guests retain copyright; we display them under a use-on-our-site permission. Don't reuse guest-credited images without contacting us — we'll connect you with the original creator.

Takedowns & disputes

If you believe one of our images was published on this site without proper authorisation (for example, you recognise yourself in a photo and would like it removed), email [email protected] and we will remove it within 48 hours of verification.
