Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings and confirmation

Bookings are confirmed when you receive a written confirmation email (within 60 seconds for online bookings, within 1 hour for WhatsApp bookings during business hours). The confirmation includes your tour details, pickup time and address, and a reference number.

2. Pricing and payment

• All prices are in EUR including taxes (VAT where applicable)
• Full payment at booking via Monri (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
• Online payments processed by Monri (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified)
• Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
• Group discounts for 8+ people: 10% off (apply discount code at booking)

3. Cancellation policy

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before tour departure. 100% refund issued within 5 business days.

Cancellations between 12–24 hours before departure: 50% refund.

Cancellations less than 12 hours before departure or no-shows: no refund.

4. Bad weather policy

Tours run in light rain, snow, or wind. In severe weather (storm, road closure, hazardous conditions) we will:

• Reschedule your tour to another date free of charge, OR
• Issue a 100% refund

We make weather decisions by 7:00 AM the morning of the tour and notify you via WhatsApp.

5. Pickup and timing

Pickup is from your hotel, apartment, or specified address within Mostar city center. Outside Mostar city limits, a small surcharge may apply (clarified at booking).

Please be ready at the lobby/entrance 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. We wait up to 15 minutes; after that, the tour proceeds without you and no refund applies.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate booking information (name, hotel address, contact)
• Bring required items (swimsuit/towel for water tours, sturdy shoes for fortress visits, etc.)
• Follow safety instructions from guides
• Behave respectfully toward other guests, locals, and staff
• Carry valid ID/passport for any border crossings (Croatian transfers)
• Be in adequate physical condition for the activity (consult us if uncertain)

7. Insurance and liability

We carry €2 million public liability insurance covering all activities. We strongly recommend you also carry your own travel insurance covering medical, evacuation, trip cancellation, and lost luggage. Our liability is limited to refund of the booking price; we are not liable for losses you could have insured yourself.

For high-impact activities (rafting, etc.) we may require a signed waiver on the day. Bring your photo ID.

8. Children

Ages and rules vary by tour:

• Walking tours: all ages welcome
• Day tours (Kravica, Pocitelj, Blagaj): kids 5+ welcome, free for under 5, half-price under 12
• Mini rafting: 6+ with parent
• Standard rafting: 10+
• Tito's Bunker: 12+ recommended (some claustrophobic spots)

Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

9. Health and safety

Inform us in advance of any health condition, allergy, or mobility limitation that may affect your participation. We will adjust where possible. We reserve the right to refuse participation if a condition poses a safety risk to you or others.

10. Photographs and content

We may take photos and videos during tours for marketing use. If you do not consent to your image being used, please tell your guide at the start of the tour. We will not use your image without consent.

11. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure to provide the booked service due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government action, civil unrest, pandemics, road closures, etc.). In such cases we will offer rescheduling or refund per industry practice.

12. Complaints

If you have a complaint during the tour, raise it immediately with your guide so we can fix it. Post-trip complaints should be sent to [email protected] within 30 days. We respond within 5 business days.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Mostar.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Bookings already confirmed are governed by the terms in effect at the time of booking.
