About us · since 2014

We're not a tour company. We're locals with stories.

Born in Mostar. Raised on the Neretva. Building experiences for travelers who want the real Bosnia — not the postcard version.

The story

It started with one bridge and a frustrated NGO trainer.

In 2014, Armel was a trainer at grassroots peace-and-reconciliation NGOs in Mostar — running post-war youth programs that brought together kids from both sides of the river. Tourists kept stopping him on the way to Stari Most asking the same questions — and getting the same wrong answers from the bus tours running past.

One afternoon, after correcting a guide who'd just told a group the bridge was Roman, he started his own walking tour. Word got around. By 2016, his cousin Goran joined to drive transfers. By 2019, Sladja was teaching cooking classes from her kitchen.

Today we're a small local team — guides, drivers, cooks, all from Mostar or within an hour of it. We run tours, transfers, cooking classes, and rafting trips. We don't do bus tours. We don't do scripts. We tell our stories the way our grandparents told them.

The team

Local team. One philosophy.

Everyone you meet on our tours grew up here. No imported guides reading from a script. No "freelance" drivers we just met yesterday. This is family, neighbors, friends.

What we believe

Five things we won't do.

No bus tours

Group sizes capped at 8 for cooking, 14 for day tours. We move faster, talk longer, eat better.

No scripts

Our guides tell their own stories. About their families. About the war. About the food. You'll get a person, not a recording.

No tourist traps

Lunch is at family restaurants we've gone to since the 90s. The shops we visit are the ones our parents shop at.

No commission games

We don't push you into shops where we get a cut. Tip jars stay closed. Optional means optional.

No hidden fees

The price you see is the price you pay. Every entry, every meal, every kilometer is included unless explicitly marked.

What we will do

Treat you like a friend visiting from out of town. Show you our actual favorite spots. Be honest about everything else.
