"Armel made history feel alive. We've done dozens of walking tours across Europe — he was on another level."
April 2026
"Most operators arrive at noon. We got to Kravica at 9 AM, had the upper pool to ourselves for 40 minutes."
March 2026
"Booked as a rest day between hikes. Ended up rolling burek with Sladja for three hours, drinking rakija with her uncle."

Five Neretva-river experiences, one BiH-registered operator, no platform fee. Every tour above is run by us — the rafting guide who picks you up in Konjic is our cousin Goran (16 years on the river); the boat captain in Jablanica is the same skipper who’s been steering that route since 2014; the Stari Most boat is staffed by our Mostar Old Town team.
When you book a “Neretva rafting tour” on GetYourGuide or Viator, the platform takes a 20–25% commission and routes you to the same Konjic operators we work with. Booking here cuts that out and puts you in direct WhatsApp contact with whoever’s running your tour — useful when flights delay, weather shifts, or you want to change the day.
The Neretva is the longest river in Bosnia and Herzegovina (225 km) and the cleanest large river in Europe — drinkable in the upper section, swimmable along most of its length, emerald green from the limestone bed. It rises in the Dinaric Alps near the Montenegro border, cuts a 1,100-metre-deep canyon through Konjic and Jablanica, settles into the wide valley around Mostar where Stari Most spans it, then drains into the Adriatic in Croatia.
The five tours above each meet the river at a different point along that drop:
| If you’re… | Pick |
|---|---|
| Travelling with kids 6+ | Kayak safari or canyon boat |
| First time on a river | Konjic rafting (grade I–III is the kindest rapids in Europe) |
| Stopping in Mostar for one day only | Stari Most boat (€10, 10 min) |
| History buff or photographer | Bunker + rafting combo |
| Hardcore rafters | Konjic rafting at peak May–June water levels |
| Group of 8+ | Group canyon boat (one of two of its kind in BiH) |
You’ll see “Neretva speedboat” tours on some OTAs. We don’t run one because the lower Neretva (Mostar → coast) is dammed and slow, and the upper Neretva (Konjic) is grade I–III rapids — speedboats don’t belong on either. If you want a fast, motorised boat day in BiH, the Krupa River (near Mostar) and Hutovo Blato wetlands are better fits — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll route a custom day.
All five tours: instant online booking, secure card payment (Visa, Mastercard, Amex via Monri), confirmation in 60 seconds, free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time. For Stari Most boat (€10) walk-up is fine — no booking needed.
WhatsApp +387 62 694 887 if you want to combine multiple Neretva experiences in one trip — we’ll route the days for you and quote any private transfer add-ons.
FAQ
If you have one day and want the river properly: full-day rafting from Konjic (€70). If you only have a few hours in Mostar and want a taste of the Neretva: the 10-minute Stari Most boat ride (€10) is the most-photographed shot in the city. For a quieter middle ground: the canyon kayak safari (€35) — half a day, no rapids, easy paddling through cliff-walled gorge.
Konjic rafting is upstream of the dams — fast, paddly, grade I–III rapids with wetsuit + guide-in-each-raft. Jablanica boat is downstream into the canyon's flat-water section (Lake Grabovica) — no rapids, you sit and look up at cliff walls. Different rivers in feel even though they're the same Neretva.
Yes. Most travellers staying 3+ nights do rafting one morning and the Mostar boat ride another afternoon. Combining rafting + canyon boat in one day is possible from Mostar but tight (rafting 9 AM Konjic, boat 4 PM Jablanica) — message us on WhatsApp and we'll route it properly.
Rafting and kayak: April through October (water is ~12–14°C even in August, wetsuit included). The 10-minute Stari Most boat tour runs April through October as well. The canyon boat tour runs the same window. None of these operate November through March — water is too cold and most operators are closed.
Konjic is 1h north of Mostar by car or bus (€5 one-way). Jablanica is 40min north of Mostar. We offer optional private transfers with hotel pickup — €50 round-trip from Mostar for the rafting day, €100 for canyon boat or kayak. Or self-drive — free parking at all three meeting points.
Yes — kayak safari and canyon boat tour are kid-friendly from age 6 (calm water, life jackets). Rafting accepts kids 12+ (grade I–III rapids, qualified guides in each raft). The 10-minute Stari Most boat ride is fine for any age.
